I love how crazy and unpredictable pheasants can be. I called this one ‘Dashing’ because he is clearly dashing somewhere and, frankly, he does look very dashing!

I wanted to create a collection of art that showcases my love of wildlife in my own unique style, blending realistic art styles with expressive brushstrokes and colours. I love the partridges and pheasants that wander into my back garden from the neighbouring fields and I never tire of their amusing characteristics and stunning plumage.
