These cosmos flowers were abundant in my friend’s allotment, just a short walk away in my village. She very kindly gifted me this bunch to paint!

This is an original oil painting of a Simmental cow, which I decided to name ‘Grace’ because of her beautiful, gentle features.
I spotted her in a field a few miles from my home in Suffolk. She had such a gentle but attentive look, which I hope I’ve managed to capture in the painting.
It is signed using an archival pen in the bottom right.

It is painted in oil on a board prepared with two finely sanded layers of gesso, then primer.

This is an original oil painting of daffodils swaying in the spring breeze.
Daffodils are the ultimate symbol of joy and hope. Their flowerheads never fail to bring a bit of cheer. This oil painting shows them reaching upwards with exuberance and optimism for the coming year.
